The budget for the cake
PLEASE NOTE: There is a minimum order of £40, which is for a 4 inch iced Madeira cake, £36 for minimum order of 12 cupcakes or biscuits. All decorations start from £10
All email enquiries will be answered as soon as possible and a FREE consultation will be arranged if necessary. For wedding cakes this will include a free tasting for up to 3 flavours. Anything more will require a small charge.
For all orders a 50% upfront payment is required. Confirmation of the order will be sent once the upfront payment has been received. The balance of the order to be paid on delivery or collection of the order.
Cancellations of orders can be accepted no later than 10 days before for a celebration cake and 2 weeks for a wedding cake.
Delivery can be offered on all cakes but the cost of delivery will be added to the cost of the cake at 40p a mile, except for wedding cakes the cost of which is included in the price up to a 10 mile radius, anything over 10 miles will incur a cost at 40p a mile.
Sally’s Cake is not responsible for damage to Cakes once they have been collected or delivered and cannot accept damage caused by yourselves, another person or the event venue.
Any repairs or adjustments will incur additional charges.
I advise all customers to check the order at time of collection or delivery, as once accepted I cannot accept any further responsibility.
I will endeavour to get all deliveries to my customers on time, however if there are any unforeseen delays which are beyond reasonable control you will be informed as soon as possible. If any cake is damaged and irreparable in transit by myself, a full refund will be given.
All cakes are made as fresh as possible, and a shelf life date will be included. Please follow storage guidance which will also be given with each cake, to ensure maximum shelf life and quality of the cake and decorations.
Some cakes will include inedible parts and you will be notified of these on delivery or collection.
Please notify me at the time of ordering of any allergies or food intolerances. Each cake is provided with allergen details.
Sally’s Cake will not disclose your personal details to any third parties. Your data given will be kept securely and will only be used by Sally’s Cake to communicate with you regarding your order.
